When WWE introduced the Women’s Tag Team Championships, it was revealed that the titles would be defended across all three brands. But that has not been the case over the last few months. In fact, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax have stayed on WWE RAW, something that they can change by making an appearance at NXT TakeOver: WarGames tonight.

Baszler was great as the women’s Champion in NXT, and she has a lot of history with most of the women involved in the WarGames match tonight. They can attack a couple of Superstars and tease a rivalry that will force the creative to book more interesting women’s tag teams – something the promotion desperately needs at the moment.
#1 RETRIBUTION (from WWE RAW)
RETRIBUTION can certainly use this boost
RETRIBUTION’s arrival on WWE RAW and their social media presence led fans into believing that there are big plans for the group. However, they crumbled in front of The Hurt Business, and every bit of hype around them is close to meeting an unfortunate end. There are only a few ways to save RETRIBUTION from being lost in the card, and one of them includes having them run havoc through the NXT roster tonight.
Superstars like T-BAR and Reckoning were a big part of WarGames last year. Bringing them back for a brief appearance will create a lot of excitement for both NXT as well as the two Superstars. Knowing how WWE looks at the booking, none of these Superstars will be booked for an appearance at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. But hey, can you blame someone for imagining a good surprise?
