Ever since entering at number 3 in the 2016 Royal Rumble, AJ Styles has remained a huge fan favourite in WWE.

When the buzzer went down to the count of zero, the fans as well as Roman Reigns were surprised at a strange entrance theme they have never heard before in WWE, but once the titantron screen displayed "I am phenomenal", the crowd went crazy.

AJ Styles, one of the biggest names in professional wrestling, made his first appearance for the biggest wrestling company in the world at Royal Rumble 2016. Since then, The Phenomenal One has captured the hearts of most WWE fans with his excellent in-ring work, as well as his charisma.

Styles is currently a two time WWE Champion, with one of the longest modern day WWE title reigns, with an astonishing figure of 371 days.

AJ Styles was scheduled to face the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, at Survivor Series. However, on the latest episode of SmackDown Live, Daniel Bryan defeated Styles in an impromptu WWE Championship match to become a four-time world champion.

Bryan will now face The Beast Incarnate at Survivor Series, this leaves AJ Styles without a match at Survivor Series on Sunday.

Since WrestleMania 2016, Styles has had a match at the main show of every non brand or gender exclusive WWE PPV.

Being a SmackDown Live Superstar, Styles can't compete in RAW PPVs, yet made an appearance at WWE No Mercy 2017, against Demon Balor, filling in for Bray Wyatt.

Styles has gone on to appear on 31 consecutive PPVs for WWE. Kevin Owens would have had this record had he appeared on the main card of Survivor Series 2017.

Currently, Styles has no match scheduled for Survivor Series 2018, and the chances of him making the card are slim. Thus, this streak may snap at this point. However, there is no denying that Styles has done an impressive job since making his debut in WWE.
