The 2018 Royal Rumble is fast approaching and for the past few weeks, both RAW's Roman Reigns and Smackdown's Shinsuke Nakamura have been neck and neck on professional betting websites for winning the men's Royal Rumble.

While other superstars such as John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, and even Daniel Bryan have been very high favorites at one point too, Reigns and Nakamura have been on top for all of January thus far, and now it seems like more evidence to one of these winning has been revealed. To some, it may seem like grasping at straws just a little, but if you have seen this every year then you know how accurate it can be. I am talking of course about the list of Premium VIP Axxess signings during the WrestleMania weekend. Every year the Royal Rumble winner is always a Premium VIP signing and according to PWInsider, both Roman Reigns and Shinsuke Nakamura will be Premiums once again this year, as they both were last year, along with others including Rumble winner Randy Orton.

The other male Premium VIP's include WWE Champion AJ Styles, Hall of Fame headliner Bill Goldberg, Braun Strowman (not scheduled for the Rumble match), Dean Ambrose (injured) and Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins (penciled in for other plans). This leaves Roman and Shinsuke as the most likely of the male superstars to win the men's, Royal Rumble. So of these two I believe Shinsuke Nakamura will come out on top as a victory for Nakamura in the 30-man match would make more sense due to being popular with fans of all ages, unlike Roman, and to set up his planned match with WWE Champion AJ Styles at WrestleMania.

Asuka is also the only female Premium VIP scheduled for Axxess, and with Ronda Rousey's rumored Rumble debut in doubt, Asuka seems like a sure thing.
