Paige discusses her feud, the Divas division and her dream match with a Hall of Famer

Will Paige prevail in an exciting feud?

– Paige emerged on the wrestling scene a long time ago when she was 13 years old.

Paige who is just 23 years old has been wrestling for a decade and is sort of veteran in the ring in spite of being so young. Paige entered the WWE through NXT and then won the Divas Title on her first day on the main roster.

Paige has been recently involved in a feud with her former teammates Becky Lynch and the Divas Champion Charlotte. Paige was speaking with the Mirror during the UK Tour.

On the Divas getting screentime

The Divas revolution has been spoken for a long time in the WWE. The Divas roster looked extremely thin until the influx of divas such as Paige, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte.

Paige said that #GiveDIvasAChance is what started it all. It became so popular that it was trending worldwide for three straight days. Paige added that this corrected their earlier thought that the fans do not prefer to watch Women’s wrestling.

"You know we have an amazing bunch of girls, full of talent and all hard working, but we need the opportunities because we’re really here to prove we can do stuff as good as the guys, or even better."

On her feud with Becky Lynch and Charlotte

Paige formed a team with her long time friends Charlotte and Becky Lynch after they made their debut on the main roster. But since Charlotte won the championship, Paige has been seen feuding with her and Becky Lynch.

Paige said that she knows Becky since she was 13 years old and they have even stayed together. She also said that Charlotte started developmental right after her and she considers them as a family.

"That was crazy because we went from being on the Indies together to being on the grandest stage of them all together. And then you’ve got Charlotte, who started in developmental six months after I did, so we’ve really been through it together, which is really nice."

On getting more mic time

Paige has been getting a lot of mic time since her amazing promo a few months back. Paige has been widely praised for it and said that mic time is extremely important as a lack of it makes wrestlers rusty.

“They are giving me more time, literally every week they are giving me a promo, and I’m doing it live, which is tough, but I love doing them because it just makes me better.”

On her social media sparring with Alundra Blayze(Medusa)

Paige and Alundra Blayze have been going on about each other on twitter with Paige staying in character. Paige said that a match with Alundra is not happening, but she would love if it does and hopes for it.

"She’s probably not been in the ring for about 15 or 20 years… but if she wants to go, let’s go."
