WWE Rumours: AJ Styles expected to beat John Cena at Summerslam, more matches expected

This will be the 29th SummerSlam event

With only three matches announced so far, the biggest event of the Summer is already shaping up to be a spectacular pay-per-view.

SummerSlam is scheduled to take place on 21st August 2016, and will be hosted by the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It will be the first pay-per-view following the recent WWE brand extension.

Three matches that have been announced as of now for this year’s WWE SummerSlam are;

Dean Ambrose(c) vs Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship

Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor to determine the first ever WWE Universal Champion, and

Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton

Apart from these matches, a few more are rumored for the card. A rematch for the WWE Women’s Championship between Sasha Banks and Charlotte can be expected at SummerSlam.

There are also chances of a WWE Tag team Championship match between the New Day and The Club ( Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows ).

The final encounter between the 15 time World Champion, John Cena and the Phenomenal AJ Styles may be witnessed at this event as well. According to allwrestlingnews.com, there is quite a considerable chance of this match actually taking place.

Some backstage reports indicate that if this match comes to fruition, then AJ Styles will be coming out as the winner in the feud, thereby ending this rivalry. It would be the first time in recent memory where John Cena would have lost
