Analysing the outcome of each major championship match at WrestleMania 35

This coming Sunday, WWE will have their annual WrestleMania show, which will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and it'll probably end up being the longest show in the history of the company.

As of this writing, there are six championship matches scheduled for the show, including the first ever women's main event where Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair will compete in a triple threat match which will decide who is the top woman in WWE.

Also as you would expect, every other major Championship will be on the line, and more often than not, WWE makes the right decision regarding their titles at the biggest show of the year.

So who will walk out of the annual show as the WWE Champion? Will Brock Lesnar retain the Universal Championship in his match against Seth Rollins? Both of those questions and a whole lot more will be answered if you keep on reading!

#6. Bayley & Sasha Banks Retain Women's Tag Team Titles

This will mark the first time that the Women's Tag Team Championships will be defended at a WrestleMania event, as the current title holders Sasha Banks and Bayley will defend their belts against three other teams: Natalya and Beth Phoenix, Nia Jax and Tamina, and The IIconics (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay.)

Even though the match will feature a former WWE Women's Champion and current Hall of Famer in Beth Phoenix, it's hard to imagine the company booking anything other than a Bayley and Sasha Banks win in this match.

The only other team that has a chance to win this match, albeit a very small one, is The IIconics, but that's only if WWE wants to put the belts on a pair of heels. As for the other two teams, well, it's hard to see either of them coming out of the event as the new champs.

#5. Samoa Joe Retains US Title Over Rey Mysterio

Samoa Joe has done a fantastic job as the United States Champion on WWE's blue brand, so I don't see any good reason why WWE should take the belt off of him at WrestleMania 35, as winning SmackDown's secondary title probably wouldn't do much for his opponent, Rey Mysterio.

If Joe does end up losing the title on Sunday night, that could be an indicator that WWE is planning on moving him over to Monday Night Raw via the Superstar Shakeup, which will happen eight days after WrestleMania 35.

But Joe seems like a better fit for the SmackDown roster, especially when you consider the fact that the show will be moving over to Fox before the end of the year, so they definitely need their most talented superstars on the blue brand prior to its debut on the network, and the current US Champ is certainly one of the best WWE has to offer.

#4. Finn Balor over Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Title

On Monday's go-home edition of Raw, Finn Balor announced that he will be bringing "The Demon" to WrestleMania for his Intercontinental Championship match against Bobby Lashley, which pretty much means that he's walking out of the event with the IC Title.

In case you don't already know, Finn Balor is undefeated when he breaks out his popular "Demon King" character, so one would expect that trend to continue when WWE heads to the New York market this weekend.

Of course, there is a chance that WWE will decide to go the heat route and have Bobby Lashley be the first person to defeat Balor while he's wearing the paint. But that's a huge risk, as it could make the fans in attendance completely turn against the show, thus making it difficult for every other match on the card to get over.

#3. Kofi Kingston over Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship

This is another one of those matches where WWE is almost forced to put the title on the babyface challenger, as the company has been building Kofi Kingston as the ultimate underdog in his WWE Championship match against Daniel Bryan, and the only way to properly end the story is to have the New Day member win the blue brand's main title.

There's a chance that Vince McMahon will add some type of stipulation to the WWE Championship match in order to stack the deck against Kofi Kingston at Sunday's show, which will make it even more vital that the former Intercontinental Champion overcomes the odds to win the company's main title for the first time in his career.

If he doesn't win, then much like with the Finn Balor match, WWE is risking making the fans lose interest in the rest of the show, which is exactly what they don't need at a historic WrestleMania like this one.

#2. Brock Lesnar retains the Universal Title over Seth Rollins

It seems like we go through the same thing with Brock Lesnar and his contract at each year's WrestleMania event, and this year will be no different, as it's heavily rumoured that the current Universal Champion will leave WWE after this coming Sunday's show in order to have at least one more fight in the UFC.

But, in an attempt to keep him with the company, Vince McMahon could decide to keep the red brand's main title on Lesnar, which would certainly get a lot of heat from the fans.

Also, you shouldn't rule out the possibility that WWE might be planning yet another Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar Universal Championship match at some point down the road which will likely involve Reigns going over, thus regaining the title that he never actually lost. Also, he could do it with the help of his buddy Seth Rollins.

#1. Becky Lynch wins the RAW & SD Women's Titles

On Monday's instalment of Raw, Stephanie McMahon announced that the triple threat Women's Championship main event will be a "winner take all match," where the winner will walk out of the event with both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships.

Unless WWE is completely out of their mind, Becky Lynch should win this match, and she should win it by either pinning or submitting Ronda Rousey, who is set to leave the company after the event.

Also, that would set up a program between "The Man" and Charlotte Flair after the event, as the latter wouldn't have gotten pinned or submitted, thus giving her a legitimate reason to demand an immediate shot at the new champ.

The only way that I can see Becky Lynch not winning this match is if Ronda Rousey agrees to stay in the company for a significant period of time following this coming Sunday's show, which at this point doesn't seem likely.
