#3. Kevin Owens defeats AJ Styles

KO
KO

A few weeks ago on RAW, the Street Profits made their in-ring debuts on the show and faced the O.C in a tag team match. However, there was interference from AJ Styles, who almost cost them the match. There was a surprise towards the end as Kevin Owens came out to even the odds for the Profits, who won the match as Owens hit a stunner on AJ to make a statement.

This raises questions regarding the future of the United States Championship. AJ has put away all comers, including Ricochet, Cedric Alexander, Humberto Carillo, and has remained a strong champion for months. They were all fairly new to the main roster and didn't have much build-up, so it wasn't a surprise that AJ beat them all.

However, Owens is riding a strong wave of momentum after his feud against Shane McMahon on SmackDown. WWE should capitalize on his hot streak by crowning him the new United States Champion. They could even drag the feud out for a few months till the start of 2020. It is worth noting that AJ and Owens feuded for the same title back in 2017, but with the roles reversed.
