Predictions: Raw February 5, 2018

This will be a classic encounter.
This will be a classic encounter.

We are well ahead of the Royal Rumble and now things are shaping up for the Elimination Chamber, Raw’s exclusive PPV. With three episodes left before the 'steel meets flesh', a lot is yet to be pinned down for its matches.

In our attempt to figure out the permutations for the next PPV, here are the predictions for the upcoming episode of WWE Raw:

#1 Roman Reigns will advance to the Elimination Chamber

This should be good.
This should be good.

WWE has announced Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt for Raw this week. The winner will earn a spot in the men’s Elimination Chamber match. We predict the 'Big Dog' to stand tall over the 'Eater of the Worlds'.

Notably, last week Bray Wyatt distracted the 'Woken' Matt Hardy and cost Hardy his place in the chamber. We expect the Hardy boy to return the favour this week. This will advance the feud between both these superstars.

Further, this will also align Roman Reigns to earn the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for the Universal Championship by securing his place in the chamber.

#2 Remaining Spots for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match

The most diabolical turn.
The most diabolical turn.

There are two names yet to be pinned down for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match. The other four participants are Braun Strowman, Elias, John Cena and Roman Reigns (prediction).

The former tag team champions are now free to compete back on the singles level. However, Jason Jordan is injured as of now.

This brings us to 'The Architect' Seth Rollins, who should be one of the two missing pieces in the chamber match.

#3 The Cruiserweight Division

Let the clouds go away, let a Champion be crowned.
Let the clouds go away, let a Champion be crowned.

This division has recently been in chaos for the last couple of weeks. Cedric Alexander’s wait to get his hands on the Championship opportunity just seems to never end.

Interestingly, this division has already featured a couple of fatal-four-way matches in the past. There could be the possibility of again having qualification matches, but the same is happening for the Elimination Chamber match. Also, the same set of matches has recently happened for the United States Championship.

Our pick is to have a battle royal to determine the dancing partner for Cedric Alexander at the Elimination Chamber PPV to crown the next Cruiserweight Champion.

#4 Women’s Elimination Chamber Match

And the participants are...
And the participants are...

The women’s locker room is reaching new heights with every PPV. Last week, Stephanie McMahon announced the first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber match where Alex Bliss will defend her Championship.

Nothing comes without a cost. Hence, we expect to see qualification matches to earn spots in this historic match. However, we expect the 'Legit Boss' Sasha Banks, the 'Unstoppable Force' Nia Jax and Sonya Deville to finally be part of the chamber.

There are a lot of speculations and rumours about the possible participants. However, nothing is announced on the official website. Who else would you like to see compete in this prestigious match? Let the comments be your voice.

#5 Who is next for the Miz?

This could turn in battle of factions.
This could turn into a battle of factions.

The Miz was the Intercontinental Champion, took a break to shoot Marine 6, made his return and won back the championship from Roman Reigns.

Who will be next in line to challenge him for the IC championship?

We believe Finn Balor will be the ideal opponent. Balor delivered a gutsy performance at the Royal Rumble and lasted over 57 minutes. He is also out of the Universal Championship picture thanks to John Cena, the man who also cost Balor the Royal Rumble match.

It will be interesting to see how the Miztourage takes on the Balor Club.

#6 Heel turn for John Cena?

A heel turn?
A heel turn?

Let us address the elephant in the room. Last week on Raw, John Cena was majorly distracted by the crowd during his match against Finn Balor. It seemed the crowd is finally getting under his skin.

The sixteen times World Champion is consistently facing a nightmare response from the crowd. Notably, the arena echoed with “You both suck” chants when he shared the ring with Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble.

The only way he could land up in the main match card at the WrestleMania this year will be as a heel. The Elimination Chamber would be a perfect platform for him to turn heel.
