At No Way Out 2000, Triple H and Cactus Jack brawled in a Hell In A Cell match, in what many regard as one of the greatest matches of all time. Triple H defeated Cactus Jack, retaining his WWE title in the process. In 2002, Triple H defeated Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 18 to become the Undisputed WWE Champion. Months later, Triple H defeated Jericho again in a Hell In A Cell match to end their rivalry.

A year later, Triple H and Kevin Nash met inside Hell In A Cell at Bad Blood 2003, with the World title on the line. In the end, special referee Mick Foley raised the hands of Triple H, who retained his title by defeating Nash. At Bad Blood 2004, Triple H defeated Shawn Michaels to finally put an end to their years-long rivalry.
As mentioned in the Shawn Michals slide, Triple H and Michaels reformed DX on two separate occasions and scored major wins over the McMahons and Big Show, and The Legacy, in 2006 and 2009, respectively.
