#5 Jack Gallagher
Jack Gallagher was the second ever UpUpDownDown titleholder. He lost in the first-ever tournament to Mikaze in the first round.
However, Gentleman Jack bounced back from the loss to take the title off Mikaze after beating the champion at UFC 3, a game of his own choosing.
Gallagher made the champion submit during the game and won the coveted title. He also began a tradition of writing and reciting poetry dedicated to the players he defeated, including Mikaze, Buddy Murphy, and Shelton Benjamin.
After two successful defenses, Gallagher was challenged by the WWE champion Kofi Kingston. Kingston won the two-game series in straight sets, defeating the reigning champion in Mortal Kombat using Kabal and then Sub Zero.
The General Manager, Xavier Woods, even gave Jack an extra round but it was to no avail as Kofi won with Lui Kang.
Gallagher's reign may have started with a cherry-picked challenge against Mikaze, but he added a touch of class to the title with his post-victory poetry.
