WWE RAW: What can happen?

The upcoming episode of Raw will be instrumental in setting up the tone for the PPV in Saudi Arabia. Seven championships and the prestige of winning the first ever 50-man Royal Rumble will be on the line in a couple of days.

The wrestling fans around the world are looking forward to this event. Here is the preview for the go-home show as WWE gears up for the night in Jeddah.

#1 The Beast Returns

Will the champion continue to dominate the challenger?

Brock Lesnar will be seen on Raw for the first time after he successfully defended his Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. He will be oozing with confidence ahead of his match.

Notably, the “Big Dog” has mentioned a couple of times that he will become the full-time champion this Friday. However, the “Beast Incarnate” will be looking to take the challenger to the Suplex-City one more time.

An intense verbal (and possibly physical) exchange is expected as these two confront each other for the final time ahead of their steel cage match at the King Abdullah Stadium.

#2 Problems continue for Kurt Angle

His temperament will be put to test this week.

Last week Kurt Angle made an impromptu match for Jinder Mahal to defend the United States Championship. Not to mention, the “Modern Day Maharaja” lost the championship to Jeff Hardy. He will surely have a lot to say to the Raw General Manager.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were offered Raw’s contract, despite the Olympian’s reluctance. They both are going to rub this in his face. Notably, they enjoy the backing of the Raw Commissioner, Stephanie McMahon.

The Raw General Manager might have a busy night in his office. It will be interesting to see how he deals with these Heel Superstars without losing his control over the show.

#3 Impact of the Superstar Shake-Up

Titus-Worldwide was assaulted last week.

Last week, Raw has acquired a lot of wrestlers thanks to the Superstar Shake-Up. A couple of them has already left a mark on their first night on Raw.

The Riott Squad, as well as the team of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, should carry on the momentum they gained from the last week. The other traded Superstars will also be keen to make an impact for themselves.

Although the match card for the Greatest Royal Rumble is set, a lot of space is left on the same for Backlash. The new members must be willing to get their name slated for that event.

#4 Build-Up for the matches at GRR

The former-enemies are looking good as a team.

The Bar and “Deleters of the World” will face each other to crown the new tag-team champions for Raw in three days. Hence, each team will be eyeing to gain the upper hand over their opponent. It is quite probable that we see them in a one-on-one match.

Rusev might have a lot to say about his match against the “Undertaker”. Notably, he was removed and added back to this match. The fans would love to hear from the man himself about his mindset for the match on the Rusev Day.

The Intercontinental Championship will be contested in a ladder match this Friday. The “Architect”, the “Demon King” and the Samoan would want to solidify their claim to the title.

#5 The Greatest Royal Rumble

A lot is on the line at this event for WWE.

Less than half of the participants are announced so far for the Greatest Royal Rumble match. Addition of Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin will enhance the star power for this match. Also, a lot of Raw (and possibly NXT) Superstars will be throwing their names in the hat to compete in this match.

There are a lot of possible endings for the Triple H vs. John Cena match. It might be the last time that these future Hall of Famers will face each other in a one-on-one match. The fans are looking forward to this match as the thirty-times World Champions collide.
