Samoa Joe made a big statement at the expense of Kingston

Believe it or not, it wasn't a bad week for Kofi Kingston at all, all things considered. Following a successful title defence at Stomping Grounds, he would beat Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in back-to-back matches.

Post-that, he was ambushed and attacked by Samoa Joe, who made big enough a statement to earn himself a WWE title shot at Stomping Grounds. Why a RAW superstar gets to compete for a SmackDown title, we're not very sure. However, there's no denying that it will be an exciting bout.

On SmackDown Live, Kingston put away Dolph Ziggler for good in a 2-out-of-3 falls match, effectively ending their rivalry. This week, Samoa Joe will look to make an even bigger statement than last time, so Kofi Kingston better watch out, wherever he is.
