RAW Preview: Major arrest to take place, Seth Rollins to align with former tag team champions? (December 2nd, 2019)

Last week's episode of RAW was an extremely eventful one. Sure, it's normal that RAW after major PPVs are great but this was a bit better than usual primarily due to the development of everything that's been going on.

While Seth Rollins isolating the WWE fans and becoming a villain in their eyes isn't a recent thing, he seems to have done the same to the WWE locker room last week and that kicked off an entire series of events throughout the show with the most intriguing ending, but we'll get back to that in a while.

Following humiliation at Survivor Series, the red brand is looking to bounce back big in TLC which happens to be less than two weeks away! With rivalries beginning (such as Buddy Murphy vs Aleister Black) and some intensifying, here's what you need to look forward to on another eventful episode of RAW.

#6 The Lana-Rusev-Lashley story takes a new twist

Rusev got arrested last week
Rusev got arrested last week

Let's just get this one out of the way since we take it that none of you are big fans of this love triangle. Firstly, Lana manages to get a restraining order in a different state quite fast and if she did it in Chicago, she's probably going to do it in Tennessee as well.

And just like last time, we don't expect the restraining order to be followed. However, Rusev is smarter than many give him credit for and expect him to once again ambush "Bob" Lashley, as he so lovingly refers him to.

This time around, however, the trickery is going to lead to another twist and another major arrest, with Bobby Lashley being the one handcuffed by the police this time around. The feud is reaching its boiling point!

#5 What's brewing with AoP?

Akam and Razar are a dominant team
Akam and Razar are a dominant team

RAW's Tag Team scene just got a whole lot more interesting with the return of AoP after a long hiatus. It seems as though The Viking Raiders took their spot as the "monster" team of RAW and a clash between those two seems inevitable.

The two teams never really crossed paths in NXT so it would be interesting to see how they match-up, but that's only down the line. AoP were among the people that Rollins picked on and just like the others, they walked out on him.

In the middle of the night, they made a successful in-ring return as well, squashing Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. However, it was their involvement in the main event between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins that raised a lot of eyebrows.

They attacked Owens, causing the DQ and teased a confrontation with Rollins, only to walk away. Is there something brewing with AoP? Could Seth Rollins possibly be hinting at an alliance with the former tag team champions?

#4 Randy Orton and AJ Styles get right back into it

A renewal of a rivalry
A renewal of a rivalry

The rivalry that didn't exactly rock WrestleMania 35 has been renewed as of last week. It all began when Humberto Carrillo was supposed to challenge AJ Styles for the United States Championship, only for The OC to viciously attack him and rule him medically unclear.

As a result of that, Ricochet, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and Drew McIntyre all came out to challenge for the title and while Styles refused to grant anyone a title shot, Gallows and Anderson, for some odd reason, decided that it would be a good idea (essentially ruling out the purpose of what they did to poor Humberto).

Rey Mysterio would win the Fatal-4-Way and during the match, it was Randy Orton who interfered and hit AJ Styles with the RKO, allowing the Lucha legend to become United States Champion again.

After the match, a furious AJ Styles made it clear that he would be targeting Randy Orton next and he won't be going after Rey Mysterio right away. The rivalry has been renewed and we should expect a war of words between the two old WrestleMania rivals.

#3 Who's next for Rey Mysterio?

Just a night after frustratingly falling short to Brock Lesnar and the WWE Championship, Rey Mysterio became the United States Champion again. It was another situation where the odds were against him as he just wrestled a match, but as we've all come to know and love Mysterio, those are the kinds of situations that he thrives in the most.

The ultimate underdog seemed to have needed that time away from WWE to remind fans as to just how good he is. While he had a slow start last year, he's certainly picked up the pace and looks like a better in-ring performer now than ever before.

The great thing about watching Rey Mysterio wrestle in WWE in 2019 is the quality of opponents he's facing and that has improved a lot over the past few years. Now that he's the United States Champion, the big question is as to who is going to challenge him for it? Our best bet would have to be one of the other contenders from last week, which means we can probably expect either Ricochet or Drew McIntyre to issue a challenge to the legend.

#2 Charlotte Flair takes on The Kabuki Warriors in a handicap match

Green mist!
Green mist!

For the longest time, Charlotte Flair seemed to have Asuka's number. Apart from just ending her undefeated streak at WrestleMania 34, she has more than one victory over her and the two went head-to-head on RAW last week, with Asuka finally picking up a long-awaited win over Flair, courtesy of the green mist.

The green mist has been the best assist for Asuka this past month and Charlotte Flair is going to have to be prepared for it again as she takes on Asuka and Kairi Sane in a handicap match.

We can't imagine any other result in this match other than a victory for The Kabuki Warriors as the numbers game will prove far too strong. However, we do anticipate the return of Becky Lynch once Flair suffers the beatdown. Even if she walks away with a sneaky victory, the post-match attack will ensue and the RAW Women's Champion will likely come to her aid, setting up a Tag Team title match between The Kabuki Warriors and Flair & Lynch.

#1 Seth Rollins "apologizes" to the locker room

Seth Rollins has a lot of explaining to do
Seth Rollins has a lot of explaining to do

Seth Rollins, the so-called "locker room leader" of Monday Night RAW appeared to have lost the locker room last week with his passionate speech where he also insulted everyone. Sure, he took the blame upon himself as well but even though Vic Joseph and Jerry Lawler were going on about how "well-intentioned" the speech was, the execution was anything but that.

He targeted Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair, Rey Mysterio, AoP and multiple others, not even acknowledging The Viking Raiders for being the only team that picked up a win for RAW at Survivor Series. After everyone walked away, it was only Kevin Owens that stood there and without saying a word and after Rollins berated him as well, he hit the 2-time Universal Champion with a stunner, setting up their match later.

This week, Rollins has stated that he will apologize to the locker room for what he said or how he said it, but we have a feeling that the apology isn't going to go to well. It'll probably be one of those apologies where he says "I'm sorry you got offended" rather than "I'm sorry for what you said".

Rollins isn't getting the locker room back so easily.
