Asuka has a title win to celebrate
At SummerSlam 2020, Asuka defeated Sasha Banks to reclaim her RAW Women’s Championship. She was incredible at the pay-per-view and delivered her best in both the title matches. Although Asuka couldn’t win the SmackDown Women's Championship match, she put in a stellar performance against Banks and managed to get back her title.

It will now be interesting to see who will be her next challenger. RAW Superstar Nia Jax appears to be one of the Superstars that WWE would pick to square off against Asuka. However, she is currently suspended. That being said, defending the RAW Women’s Championship might not be the most important thing for Asuka now.
She is set to team up with Shayna Baszler and take on Sasha Banks & Bayley in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at Payback. The backstage rumors suggest that Asuka & Baszler will take the titles from Banks & Bayley in order to facilitate the development of the latter’s feud.
As for Asuka, she could soon have two titles, and she will have a promising Superstar in Shayna Baszler as her tag team partner. There’s a lot of possibilities for the creative to explore when it comes to this RAW duo, and it will be exciting to see which direction they will take going forward.
