Reports: Wrestler assaults fan at Indie event

Gunner was reportedly involved in a fan attack in an Indie event

Reports say that former TNA star Gunner was involved in an incident wherein he assaulted a fan at a PWX indie event on September 6^th in Winston – Salem in North Carolina. The alleged fan in question is a longtime indie fan who goes by the name Adrian Rohr.

As per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Carolina regular Rohr had been vocal on social media about Gunner which had gotten Gunner upset. Moreover, the fans in attendance were also chanting ‘Dixie’s reject’ at Gunner when he came out to perform at the PWX event, which prompted Gunner to kick Rohr in the chest, with his young son watching.

The wrestlers, as expected, took Gunner’s side as is the orm even if the feelings were to be the opposite among them internally. One of the wrestlers working the event reportedly told the Observer that Gunner’s attack was unprovoked and that Rohr wasn’t the crazed wrestling fan one gets to see at such events.

Following the event, Gunner had reportedly put up the following online, but deleted it later:

“And for the record, don’t be an idiot fan and step up to my ring. You will get kicked.”
