Unmasked Rey Mysterio and his six feet tall son.
Since his contract expired in WWE, Rey Mysterio has been plying his trade with Lucha Underground but he always seems to have time for his with his family and friends. He is very active on social media sites and is well known for his Instagram photos. Mysterio posted a photo with an unmasked face, along with his six feet old son Dominick, who was once involved in a controversial WWE TV angle, when Rey was feuding with Eddie Guerrero in 2005.
In his own autobiography, Behind the Mask, Rey also mentioned about the rivalry and added the whole angle was Eddie's idea to involve Dominick who was just 8-years-old at that time.
“The angle was Eddie's idea. I'm not sure where exactly it came from. There was a somewhat similar storyline back in ECW with Sandman and Raven, with Sandman's son turning on him, though I never really asked if it had inspired Eddie.
“My wife and I talked with Dominik about the storyline and what he would have to do—if he wanted to do it. He was on the fence about doing it, I think, until he spoke to Eddie himself.”
Rey added that Eddie had long talks with Dominic and finally made him convince “Eddie smartened him up about what it would involve. I think Eddie talked to him longer than I did. He wanted to make sure Dominik was cool with it. We had to clear everything with his school and make sure he could do his work when he was on the road.”
The intense storyline started in SmackDown, continued in Great American Bash and finally settled in the ladder match at Summer Slam when Rey Mysterio captured the briefcase and won permanent custody for his son. Dominick is now a senior in high school, and Rey posted the photos featuring him and his son at one of Dominick’s high school football games.
