The Greatest Royal Rumble ever? At least we may get to see it to decide ourselves.

What's the story?

We just got a big piece of news from Roman Reigns who was on the Jim Norton and Sam Roberts' show on Sirius XM.

Reigns spoke about the "Greatest Royal Rumble" event set to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia later this year.

In case you didn't know...

WWE announced in early March that the Middle East would get their own Royal Rumble event, which will be held in Jeddah.

It's no secret that the WWE see the Middle East as a big market and this latest move further cements that notion.

The Greatest Royal Rumble will feature 50 Superstars unlike the traditional 30-man Royal Rumble and there is speculation that the Undertaker himself will take part in the match.

The heart of the matter

Reigns appeared on Jim Norton and Sam Roberts' Sirius XM show and amongst other things, seemingly confirmed that the Greatest Royal Rumble will be available for fans around the world on the WWE Network.

What's next?

The Greatest Royal Rumble will be held on April 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Indoor Sports Stadium which holds a capacity of 62,000.

Several big names have already been announced for the event including John Cena, Triple H, Reigns, Shinsuke Nakamura and WWE Champion AJ Styles.

Author's take

With Vince McMahon himself dubbing this event, at least during marketing, as the Greatest Royal Rumble.

It's great that an event WWE themselves consider to be this big will be available for WWE fans around the world.
