Major superstars are set to compete in the respective matches. Two traditional ladder bouts will feature six men and women competing for the coveted prize hanging above the ring. Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria’s feud reached its pinnacle, and might mark the final chapter at the PLE. The main event will feature a tag team bout between John Cena and Logan Paul, as well as the in-ring return by Cody Rhodes and his partner, Jey Uso.

The go-home show edition of SmackDown featured almost every superstar on the card and had dropped major spoilers for Money in the Bank 2025.

#3. Roman Reigns' WWE return

Roman Reigns hasn’t been seen on WWE television since Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker annihilated him on RAW after WrestleMania 41.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the much-anticipated return of The Tribal Chief. Seth Rollins has been constantly mocking Roman Reigns, despite Reigns being away since the go-home edition of RAW, where Rollins took shots at him, saying he was done.

The go-home edition of SmackDown saw multiple shots taken on Roman Reigns by Seth Rollins and his heel group. They also enacted the signature “Shield” ring entrance sequence.

All these teases could lead to the spectacular return of Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank 2025, where he could cost Rollins his chance to capture the briefcase.

#2. John Cena might get pinned at Money in the Bank 2025

The go-home SmackDown before MITB went off-air with John Cena and Logan Paul standing over Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso and lifting the titles.

In WWE, it's a long-standing tradition that the superstar who gets the upper hand before the premium live events generally ends up losing at the show.

Cena and Paul got the upper hand on SmackDown, which subtly suggests they are set to lose. Additionally, the Last Real Champion took Cody Rhodes out twice with his signature AA. He might take the pin, establishing Rhodes as the true contender.

#1. Bloodline 2.0 break-up

Solo Sikoa's Bloodline has gained significant strength since JC Mateo's forces. However, Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa have grown bitter. The latest episode of SmackDown saw Mateo taking his first-ever loss against Jimmy Uso.

JC blamed Jacob Fatu for his loss. In a backstage segment, Solo Sikoa was seen talking to Mateo, letting him know that Fatu is “All Gas No Brains” and that he would manipulate him. However, this time, the Samoan Werewolf overheard Sikoa, and he looked unhappy.

It appears WWE may have subtly hinted that Bloodline 2.0 might once again crumble, as Jacob Fatu would walk away, refusing to help Sikoa win the briefcase.
