At Royal Rumble 2021, Drew McIntyre and Goldberg are set to lock horns for the WWE Championship. The backstage reports suggest that Goldberg will likely walk out of the pay-per-view with the title. To make things interesting, The Miz has declared his intentions of cashing in his Money in the Bank contract at the pay-per-view.

In case Miz decides to go through with this plan, he should become the new WWE Champion. It is possible for both Miz and John Morrison to make the most of the situation when Goldberg and McIntyre are down on the mat. Unless the creative want a successful MITB cash-in at Royal Rumble, Miz should be kept away from the title bout.

The last time Miz’s contract was cashed-in, he got it back based on a technicality. WWE won’t be able to pull off something like that once again.
