Elias, sadly, drew #1 in this year's Royal Rumble match. The Troubadour didn't let it get him down, though, as he was able to open the match with a concert. Before he could get started, though, he was interrupted by a living legend and WWE Hall of Famer.

Another guitar-carrying superstar, former WCW and NWA Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett, broke up Elias' concert to roaring applause. Jarrett strutted down the ramp, and when he got in the ring, politely asked Elias to move so he could strut there as well.

A raucous crowd chanted along with Jarrett as he spelt his name. J-E-Double F J-A-Double R-E-Double T! Elias was stunned by the appearance of the legend and exclaimed that, though he's normally interrupted, this time around he wasn't too upset about it.

Jarrett, noticing Elias's guitar, asked if the Drifter wanted to perform a one-time duet for the Phoenix, Arizona crowd. However, Elias asked Jarrett to spell his name one final time. When Jarrett turned around, Elias attacked him. Monday Night's Troubadour eventually sent the former WWF Intercontinental Champion packing after crashing his guitar across his back. Though it wasn't a lengthy amount of time in the Royal Rumble, it was certainly great to see him make an appearance.

The former owner of Total Nonstop Action and owner of Global Force Wrestling was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year. Since then, he's been a part of a few specials on the WWE Network, including a moment on Table for 3 where he sang his iconic song, With My Baby Tonight, with his former roadie, Road Dogg.

It's not known if we'll see the King of the Mountain on WWE Television any time soon, so if this was a one-time appearance, pairing him up with Elias was a genius move, and honestly a dream pairing for the WWE Universe.
