JBL bid adieu to professional wrestling in 2009 after a successful career. He won the WWE Championship, United States Championship, Intercontinental Championship, and European Championship once each, in addition to his three Tag Team Title reigns and a whopping 17 Hardcore Championship reigns. He returned to the squared circle for a match only once, when he entered the 2014 Royal Rumble Match.
