Drew McIntyre is a two-time WWE Champion.

Having been absent from the ring for over a month, it seems as though Drew McIntyre's potential return to the company may be set to last a while longer.

The Scottish superstar has not wrestled a match since WrestleMania 39 last month after he valiantly lost in a hard-hitting contest against Sheamus and Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship.

With injuries and supposed creative differences keeping him away from the ring, Xero News reported earlier today stating that they have "heard nothing about McIntyre for tonight (RAW) as of yet."

After returning to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2017, Drew McIntyre has been presented as one of the biggest stars in the company, from capturing multiple WWE titles, winning the Royal Rumble match, and even main eventing WrestleMania itself.

Drew McIntyre has been removed from promos for an upcoming WWE Premium Live Event

On Saturday, July 1st, WWE will present Money in the Bank from the O2 Arena in London. Given the show's location, many would have expected Drew McIntyre to play a major part in the event knowing how integral he was to the last time the company hosted a Premium Live Event in the UK, that being Clash at the Castle.

However, with his absence from the ring ongoing, WWE recently replaced the official poster for the Premium Live Event which featured the Scottish Warrior's image which has been swapped out for the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

Winning the Money in the Bank ladder match ensures that a superstar can challenge for any title they wish for, for an entire year. Previous winners of the event that have gone on to become world champions include top names like Big E, CM Punk, Edge, Randy Orton, Asuka, and Brock Lesnar.
