A WWE return might be on the cards for Ellsworth

Carmella won the SmackDown Women's Championship by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract against Charlotte after WrestleMania. This Sunday, she will defend her Championship against the Empress of Tomorrow - Asuka.

According to a rumor doing the rounds since a few days, Carmella's former accomplice James Ellsworth is set to return at MITB, possible to help the Princess of Staten Island retain her Championship.

Ellsworth was released by WWE back in November last year and has since returned to the independent circuit. It remains to be seen if his return will be a one-off appearance or whether the company is planning on re-signing 'the man with no chin'.
