It was revealed that many WWE Superstars pitched ideas to work with FTR, formerly known as The Revival before the team was released from the WWE.
Randy Orton's name has been discussed in the past. However, Roman Reigns, The Usos, The New Day, Shane McMahon, and Bray Wyatt also reportedly expressed their desire of working with The Revival to the WWE management.
Roman Reigns took it one step further as he went up to Vince McMahon and told the WWE boss that he wanted to work with Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, now known as Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler in AEW.
The AEW tag team revealed that their alliance with Randy Orton, collectively known as FTRKO, lasted as long as it did all because of Randy Orton.
After a while, Harwood and Wheeler realized that the partnership with Orton on TV wouldn't last long and the push would lead them nowhere in the company. A firm decision was then made to leave WWE.
The pitches of the WWE Superstars came with its positives and negatives, and it also included the former Tag Team Champions getting pulled from hot TV angles.
Thankfully for Harwood and Wheeler, they have impressed ever since making their AEW debuts, and the duo is expected to be a significant part of All Elite Wrestling's thriving tag team division in the future.
