Segment cut from WWE SmackDown revealed - Reports

A segment was scrapped on last week
A segment was scrapped from last week's SmackDown.

A segment that was reportedly nixed from last week's WWE SmackDown has been revealed.

Last Friday night, AJ Styles was a guest on The Grayson Waller Effect talk show segment. Grayson Waller was recently selected by the blue brand in the WWE Draft and previously had a rivalry with The Phenomenal One in NXT. The two teased a future feud, but Styles has bigger things to worry about at the moment. He will be competing against Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship this Saturday night at Night of Champions.

According to a report from Fightful Select, The O.C. was scheduled to film a backstage interview at the tapings for SmackDown last week. This Friday's episode of the blue brand was taped last week because the company will be making the trip to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions on May 27. The report noted that The O.C. intended to film a backstage segment at the tapings last week, but the segment was ultimately nixed.

AJ Styles calls WWE star "the missing piece" of The O.C.

AJ Styles recently disclosed that Mia Yim (Michin) was the missing piece of the group and fits in perfectly.

The O.C. comprises of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Mia Yim. The group added Mia Yim during their rivalry against The Judgment Day, as they were desperate for a way to deal with Rhea Ripley. Plans for the group were derailed when AJ suffered a broken ankle at a WWE Live Event last year, but the group has a chance to start over again on SmackDown following this year's draft.

Speaking to Alex McCarthy of Inside the Ropes, AJ spoke highly of Mia Yim and said he loves having her as a part of the team.

"Listen, I don't know exactly how it came around and who made the idea of it, but I can tell you she is a great fit for us. Like, she is perfect, like, she was the missing piece you know? I love her, man. A sweetheart of a girl. Love having her on the team. She's a great asset to The O.C. I'm looking forward to doing more stuff with her as far as that group is concerned." The O.C. demolished The Viking Raiders during their recent return to the blue brand. Only time will tell if AJ will be able to win the World Heavyweight Championship, or if Rollins will emerge victorious and bring the title to WWE RAW.
