Samoa Joe's unique WWE deal, still working on Indie tournaments

Samoa Joe made his debut last night at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable

Finally, “The Samoan Submission Machine” is here. Samoa Joe made his debut for WWE at last night’s NXT Takeover:Unstoppable event when he interfered in the match between NXT Champion Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, preventing Owens from hitting an already injured Zayn with a steel chair.

Joe is expected to work for tonight’s NXT TV tapings from Full Sail University. Joe after a decade in Impact Wrestling decided to part ways with the company and the effort to bring him to the WWE was spearheaded by Triple H and has a deal with the WWE to work with the NXT.

For the time being Joe will continue working with existing and future indie dates and is also expected to work in JT Lightning Memorial Tournament this weekend in Cleveland.

The deal which also includes merchandise could grow into a full WWE-exclusive deal but as of last night it is believed that Joe hasn’t signed on an exclusive deal yet according to PWInsider.
