Satender Dagar to face John Cena, Big Show in his first 2 bouts

Satender is set to make a splash

Satender Dagar is only the second Indian wrestler, after The Great Khali, to compete in the biggest Sports/Entertainment spectacle in the world, as he is set to make his debut during India’s WWE live events to be held in Delhi next month.

Dagar hails from a small village, named Dagru, in Haryana’s Sonipat district and couldn’t ask for a better start as he is going against huge and established names in the WWE, such as The Big Show & John Cena.

The 6-foot 4 giant, is a former two-time national Kushti champion and a lifelong wrestling fan. Understandably, he is very excited about being able to perform in front of his fellow countrymen in his debut, as he said "It is a huge opportunity for me and I am elated that my first bout will be organized in my home land. I am working out for several hours in the gym and bracing myself to face Cena and Big Show,"

Satender isn’t one to have minimal ambitions, and makes it clear that his ultimate aim is to win the WWE championship belt and he is willing to work for that. He is said to have signed a three-year contract with the WWE for a rumoured sum of Rs. 5–crore.
