Seth Rollins gives bad news about CM Punk feud on WWE Backstage
On this week's WWE Backstage show on Fox Sports 1, former Universal Champion Seth Rollins was the guest. Of course, the topic that was immediately broached was a potential match with former WWE Superstar and current Backstage analyst, CM Punk.
Rollins revealed that he was unhappy that Punk was not on the show, and revealed the bad news to the WWE Universe.
"To be honest with you, I'm here and he's not here... I'm not shocked about that. I think I've exhausted all my energy on the subject. I just don't think it's going anywhere, I'm not shocked that he's not here. So, I think it's time to maybe move on to something that matters. I wish he was here, I wish we could have a face-to-face but it's not in the cards."
Rollins has tweeted and given interviews following Punk's return to pro wrestling with his appearance on WWE Backstage, challenging the Straight Edge Superstar to a match. But, Punk has clearly stated that he's signed with FOX and not WWE, and he will not be stepping into the ring anytime soon.
