#4 Re-uniting with Dean Ambrose

Following his win over 'The Game' at WrestleMania 33, Rollins would struggle to find his footing as a babyface on Monday Night. Despite being beloved by the WWE Universe, Rollins' feud with Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt didn't click in a big way and 'The Architect' was reduced to being just another good guy on the Red Brand. It wasn't until he crossed paths with an old friend-turned-foe that Rollins would truly come out of his shell as a good guy.

It began with Dean Ambrose saving Rollins from a beatdown by The Miztourage. In the weeks following, there were subtle teases of the duo potentially getting back together, only for either one of them back out at the last minute. The slow-build combined with the anticipation of seeing them join forces once again is what made the Ambrose-Rollins reunion one of the best stories WWE has told in recent memory.

Rollins and Ambrose have always had great chemistry and it shined through during this storyline. When the duo finally bumped their fist Shield style on the go-home show for SummerSlam 2017, they received one of the loudest pops of the year. Rollins and Ambrose would win the RAW Tag Team Championship from Sheamus and Cesaro at SummerSlam and would dominate the Red Brand's Tag Team Division for the next two months before dropping the belts back to The Bar just before Survivor Series.
