#5 Neutral authority figures/Vince McMahon

As much fun as it is when WWE superstars have a villainous authority figure to rally against, having a neutral authority figure is surprisingly refreshing. Maybe that has to do with the fact that Baron Corbin's run as an authority figure was perceived so negatively, but it feels like a lot more can be accomplished storyline wise with The McMahon family there.
Furthermore, seeing Vince McMahon on television and putting his personal touch into some of the storylines are also refreshing to watch unfold. In fact, from comedy segments on the Christmas Eve show to his shocking backstage segment with AJ Styles, McMahon has brought something unique to the television product that hasn't been explored in a while.

With all of this in mind, it is nice to see WWE try something different and create a more neutral atmosphere on both Raw and Smackdown Live. Of course, that doesn't mean this needs to always be the case moving forward, especially since conflict is always great for storylines and character development, but it is a nice twist to get a good guy authority figure.
