Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract is due at the end of the year, and a number of fans are worried that the former ROH standout may not renew his deal. A lot of this scepticism came to the fore after Bryan suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Rusev on the most recent episode of SmackDown Live.

However, Bryan Alvarez assuaged some of these concerns, stating that Bryan was in the middle of a slow build to a world title program. Alvarez also stated that the former World Champion would remain with WWE even after his current contract. (H/T: Ringside News)

“He ain’t leaving. You guys watch the show? He lost and then for two minutes they showed him sitting on the apron looking very disappointed in himself. There’s a story being told here. The story is he has a long journey to work his way back to the WWE Title. That’s the story they’re telling so chill out and let’s see how it goes. It’s okay to lose once in a while.”

Vince McMahon and Triple H have always been fans of Big E, and it looks like the New Day’s powerhouse maybe on the brink of a singles push which could start at Money in the Bank, according to a report from Cageside Seats.

If Big E were to receive a big singles push, he’d probably have to split from Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that WWE had big plans in place for Rose. (H/T: Ringside news)

“Obviously they have big plans for Many Rose. They gave her a nice new ring entrance, they think she’s a star. I think she’s a star too. Maybe it’s early, maybe it’s not but she’s got a good look. So there you go, they see something in her.”

#5 Reigns could feud with Jinder Mahal for a long time

A report from Cageside Seats suggests that Roman Reigns’ program with Jinder Mahal may not end anytime soon. The Big Dog is scheduled to work Live Events with Mahal through July. Unfortunately, Reigns probably won't get a better opponent until Summerslam.
