#5 The Miz (+2)

As the top champion of SmackDown suffered a defeat at the hands of WWE’s latest signing, the strong booking of Miz continued.

Back in Survivor Series, Miz successfully kept the Intercontinental championship in SmackDown and this week around, he got a win over Kalisto. Kalisto’s woes continued, but for Miz, it helped him to stamp his spot as a solid champion once again.

The feud between Miz and Dolph Ziggler looks set to be the immediate path for the Intercontinental championship and though it might sound like a repetition of the storyline, this is the best path that WWE has for both Ziggler and Miz right now as they have unfinished business.
