A roundup of all the news, in and around Survivor Series

This was a really long week for us here at Sportskeeda -- not only did we bring you live coverage of four straight evenings of sports entertainment action, from Houston, Texas, we also provided up-to-date news updates of all the events that transpired, behind the scenes.

Of course, this was a very newsworthy week and you may have missed out on certain events because of your rather hectic schedule.

Fret not, for we will bring you a compilation of all the hot news of the week in a series you're familiar with, entitled SKFabe!

#1 Bray Wyatt sent out a cryptic message

Seems like Bray may have gotten a tad nostalgic here
Seems like Bray may have gotten a tad nostalgic here

This week on SmackDown Live, The Bludgeon Brothers made their debut and much like their name suggests, bludgeoned the Hype Bros in a tag team squash. While the WWE Universe looked on in awe at these maroon-clad, hammer-wielding warriors, Bray Wyatt posted a solemn Tweet.

Bray may have a touch of the blues, shortly after he had a touch of illness (as a result of the recent viral outbreak that caused him to miss many weeks of WWE TV).

It is clear that he longs for the Wyatt Family to reunite because his career has been directionless ever since the cult members went their separate ways. Here's wishing the best to both parties!

#2 Boxing superstar teases a move to WWE

Could we see him in a WWE ring soon?
Could we see him in a WWE ring soon?

Former boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury was a guest on The White Rhino podcast where he revealed that he would definitely consider a move to WWE. This is what he had to say:

“I have not been asked but I would consider it…But aren’t I too fat to be on the WWE? WWE if you’re listening to The White Rhino Podcast, call me.”

Shockingly, for a man who hails from the world of 'real combat', Fury also had the utmost disdain for MMA:

So when you’re MMA you’re on the floor getting elbows in the face and you’re ripping each other’s noses off and all that, I don’t think that’s an honorable thing; I don’t think it’s a gentleman’s sport… I think it’s barbaric and I think all men should stand up and fight; no grabbing; fair fighting like Queensbury Rules.

It would be cool to see him in a WWE ring someday.

#3 Terrible news for Naomi

Naomi's day started great but ended badly
Naomi's day started great but did not end nearly as well

Naomi was on top of the world until a few months back, when she was SmackDown Live Women's Champion. She has not fared nearly as well since she lost her championship, and was part of a rather botchy sequence at Survivor Series with Alicia Fox.

Survivor Series did not pan out as she had hoped for as some miscreants broke into her car. Naomi went on social media, and spoke her heart out about how a day that started off great, spiralled into an upsetting one. Here's what she had to say, about the same:

It's heartbreaking what Naomi had to endure, considering how much pressure WWE Superstars are already under because of their work schedules. Let's hope the perpetrators are caught soon.

#4 Matt Hardy to reach 'breaking point'?

Matt Hardy's promo was full of clues
Matt Hardy's promo was full of clues

Matt Hardy got a thunderous pop at WrestleMania this year. Buoyed by the success of his 'Broken' gimmick, he was more successful than he ever was, during his Hall of Fame-worthy career.

However, as popular as the Hardy Boyz were, Jeff Hardy's injury has derailed their momentum. Matt Hardy still gets TV time, and is currently in a feud with Elias. After losing to Elias on the Survivor Series Kickoff show, and getting into an altercation with Elias on RAW, Hardy had this to say:

Last night, he almost separated my shoulder and he's still out there pushing my buttons? Mike Rome, now is not the time to push Matt Hardy. Elias, now is not the time to push Matt Hardy. If you continue to push me, I am going to reach my breaking point and you're going to see how dangerous, how reckless, how foolhardy Matt Hardy can truly be.

Will WWE allow Hardy to use the 'Broken' gimmick even if he does manage to secure the rights? We'll really have to wait and see, dear reader!

#5 Braun Strowman sent out a deadly message

Everyone in the roster should be careful
Everyone in the roster should be careful

Survivor Series ended with Braun Strowman absolutely destroying Triple H and leaving him in a heap in the middle of the ring. Following the destruction, The Monster Among Men had some stern words for the locker room:

You never double cross me...I don't care what team you're on, who you work for, who you play for. If you get in my way, the results will always be the same. You will fall to the Monster Among Men.

As of right now, it is obvious that Braun Strowman is on a collision course with Kane. What will become of this feud? We'll find out in the weeks that follow!

One thing is clear...WWE has pinned a lot of hopes upon the broad shoulders of The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman.

#6 Paige has quite a legendary admirer

Look who was excited by her return!
Look who was excited by her return!

Paige's life has been an open book thanks to social media and the internet, and we've been privy to a lot of her private affairs going public. Thankfully, she moved on to the next chapter of her life this week, as she made her return to WWE.

Paige has formed an alliance with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville from NXT. She took out the RAW Women's Champion, Alexa Bliss, leaving her in a heap backstage on RAW. Hulk Hogan was happy to see the events unfold and sent out the following Tweet, brother:

Hogan's comments allude to his nWo heel persona, that used to stage backstage attacks much like the NXT trio orchestrated. If Hulkster were to mend his relationship with the company, could he come back as a manager for the English lass and her two friends?

That's all about Paige. Turn to the next page to find out who has bookmarked this week's final piece of news.

#7 Three Superstars in the next Marine movie!

Could this movie set the silver screen on Straight Fire?
Could this movie set the silver screen on Straight Fire?

The Miz has been a very integral part of the 'The Marine' franchise in the past. Several WWE Superstars have acted alongside him, in various Marine movies too. Even Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, Maryse and Naomi were part of the last instalment of the franchise!

This time, The Miz teams up with Shawn Michaels and Becky Lynch. Now you know why Becky Lynch suffered an attack from the invading NXT women on SmackDown Live, and why The Miz lost his Intercontinental Championship as well.

This is a description of the movie:

When Jake Carter (The Miz) and fellow Marine Luke Trapper (Shawn Michaels) stumble upon a kidnapped girl being held prisoner by a dangerous gang of international criminals, they find themselves in the crosshairs as they try to save the girl and bring her kidnappers to justice.

Let's hope this movie is a success, readers. Join us again next week, for more SKFabe updates. Until next time, see ya' soon!
