As exciting as the action this week was, inside the ring, there was enough happening outside the ring too, to warrant that this week's edition of SKFabe will be quite interesting.

In the news, this week...
#1 Return of the boss!
This week, we saw an emotional Shane McMahon lay his hands on an employee i.e. Kevin Owens, spurred on by personal comments, leading to his suspension as the commissioner of the SmackDown Live brand.
SmackDown Live heads to Las Vegas for a very special episode next week, and the real big boss will be back.
Vince McMahon will be present to address the situation, and seemingly fuel the fire between Owens and Shane McMahon, hopefully leading into a full fledged program. We haven't seen him on screen since the night after Wrestlemania when he announced the superstar shake-up.
Mr. McMahon is one of the greatest characters in the history of the WWE and it'll be great to see him back again. His interaction with Owens should be quite hilarious indeed.

#2- Three massive matches announced for SmackDown Live
There's no SmackDown Live pay-per-view in September. Instead, WWE is going all guns blazing for their Sin City Show, with Vince McMahon's reappearance but also three title matches, before the Mae Young Classic finals.
Naomi will finally get her hands on Natalya after losing the SmackDown Live Women's Championship at SummerSlam. The New Day and The Usos will take each other on, in a Sin City Street Fight.
Meanwhile, AJ Styles and Tye Dillinger will do battle for the United States Championship.
This is the most excited we've been for an episode of SmackDown Live for a long time. Football season is underway in the United States and WWE is doing their best to retain their audience, against some stiff competition.
#3 An Indian woman sets the internet on fire!
32 extremely talented women participated in the Mae Young Classic, but only one has gone viral on YouTube. Kavita Devi, who lost her first round match against New Zealand's Dakota Kai, made waves by wrestling in a salwar kameez -- the traditional attire of Indian women.
As of writing this post, the video has a staggering 4.5 million views. One assumes this is because of the immense support from the subcontinent for this talented young woman.

#4 Sexy Star made Chris Jericho's list
Sports entertainment is simulated combat and each participant puts his/her safety and welfare into the hands of his/her opponent when stepping into a ring. Sexy Star applied a shoot armbar on Rosemary at Triplemania this year, and betrayed the trust of her opponent.
This incident has garnered much criticism worldwide and incensed Chris Jericho. Y2J immediately banned Sexy Star from his podcast. This is what he had to say, about the highly controversial situation:
"I don't know where her mind is at, never met her, at this point, I don't think I want to. Sexy Star you are now going to have a lifetime ban from Talk Is Jericho. Sexy Star is banned from Talk Is Jericho for life. There you go. There's my little piece of the pie and that's what I say about that."
Guess what, Sexy Star. You just made the list!
#5 An exciting new prospect arrived in NXT!
If you're a fan of independent wrestling, you would certainly know about the towering megastar, Donovan Dijak. Standing at 6'7" inches tall, you probably know of him from his work in Ring of Honor, Evolve and PWG. Well, he's joined the WWE Performance Center, and it's time to 'feast your eyes' on the future.
This is what WWE had to say about the Superstar:
Combining heavy-hitting power with cat-like agility, Dijak’s explosive offense has won him admirers around the world. His “Feast Your Eyes” knee-smash, meanwhile, has downed enough opponents to put Dijak on WWE’s radar with only four years’ experience.
One wonders if he will be aligned with Adam Cole's trio from ROH, that's running wild across the NXT roster. Only time will tell us all.
#6 Nikki Bella made a bold statement
Few men find women who will stick up for them at all times. Well, John Cena has!
Nikki Bella was interviewed by The Mirror, and she said that John Cena was “absolutely the best talent there has ever been on the mic." As good as he is, we wonder if there is a bit of favouritism involved considering that there have been legendary promos by the likes of Ric Flair, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan, in the WWE's past.
Well, everyone has an opinion and we'll leave Nikki's opinion, however biased, at that. Let's move on to the final story of the week.
#7 A gentlemanly wedding!
Jack Gallagher, one of the most unique stars on the 205 Live roster, got married to the love of his life recently...independent wrestler Clara Sinclare. The wedding took place in England. We wish the couple all the best for the future, and many happy years together.
