This week's episode of SmackDown will see Cody Rhodes defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in a steel cage match. Since the bout was announced on the blue brand last week, there has been a lot of excitement around it.

After all, this will be the second time Sikoa will be challenging Rhodes after failing to beat him at SummerSlam 2024. On social media, many are speculating about how this match between two of SmackDown's best could go.

In this article, we will look at three things that could take place during Cody Rhodes' title defense against Solo Sikoa on SmackDown's season premiere.

WWE failed to hide these secrets - Check them out!

#3. Cody Rhodes does a Moonsault from the top

When it comes to steel cage matches, Cody Rhodes has been known to be one creative superstar. During his time wrestling on the Independent scene, Rhodes landed a Moonsault from the top of the cage on WWE legend Kurt Angle. Later, he did the same when he wrestled Wardlow in AEW.

On SmackDown's upcoming episode, The American Nightmare could attempt the same on Solo Sikoa. Rhodes could climb the cage and land a Moonsault on Sikoa, which would be quite a sight. While the move is dangerous, Rhodes seems to have mastered it.

#2. Solo Sikoa puts Cody Rhodes through the cage wall

Even though Solo Sikoa might not be as seasoned as Cody Rhodes in the ring, one simply can't deny his strength. Since making his WWE debut, Sikoa has proven that he is a strong wrestler who is capable of doing things that can captivate the crowd.

In his upcoming match on SmackDown, Sikoa, in a display of his strength, could put Rhodes through the cage wall. This would not only assert Sikoa's power but also damage The American Nightmare significantly, which is something The Bloodline leader would want.

#1. Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso reunite

The last time Roman Reigns was on WWE programming, Solo Siko and The Bloodline put him through the announcer's table. As for Jimmy Uso, Sikoa and Tama Tonga attacked him on SmackDown after WrestleMania 40, and since then, Jimmy has not appeared on WWE programming.

Hence, on SmackDown's upcoming episode, Reigns and Jimmy could reunite to cost Sikoa his match. This act by Reigns and Jimmy could lead to the beginning of a war between Roman's faction and Sikoa's Bloodline. It will be interesting to see if something along these lines happens on SmackDown.
