When Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins met at WrestleMania 35, the Universal Championship match opened the main show, however, the scenario was different at SummerSlam. The most coveted prize of the red brand was defended in the main event of the show. It was certainly the best match of the show as we witnessed a gigantic upset.

Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.

Brock Lesnar won the Universal Title at Extreme Rules where he cashed in the Money in the Bank contract. Although Rollins defeated Lesnar at The Grandest Stage of Them All, he wasn't the favorite this time. In the last two weeks, Rollins was brutally assaulted by Lesnar and the latter was an easy pick for the SummerSlam bout. Furthermore, Rollins fought with a kayfabe injury.

In my humble opinion, it was one of the best Universal Championship matches since the inception of the belt. It was a fast-paced match with some awesome maneuvers. The Beastslayer countered two German Suplexes. Despite eating some vicious Suplexes and F-5s, Rollins didn't back down and he looked motivated to become a two-time Universal Champion. Rollins delivered multiple Stomps to slay the Beast.
