Rey Mysterio should play a crucial role in deciding the result of this match

The feud between Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio took a personal turn and eventually saw Rey’s son, Dominik Mysterio getting involved. The latter made a few appearances on RAW and got the better of both the Monday Night Messiah and his disciple, Murphy. Things escalated quickly, and Dominik challenged Rollins for a match at SummerSlam.

Seth Rollins accepted the challenge and the two Superstars are now set to lock horns in a Street Fight at SummerSlam. After their contract signing, Dominik was brutalized by Rollins who used a kendo stick. On the following week’s episode of RAW, Rey Mysterio made his return on the red brand and subjected Rollins to a similar treatment. He then confirmed that he would be by the side of his son to even things out against Rollins as the latter often relies on the help from Murphy.

While Dominik has been quite impressive so far, he should not be the one to eat Rollins clean at SummerSlam. It’s his first real match in WWE, and it would be better if he wins the match with the help of Rey Mysterio. If he beats Rollins all by himself, the latter’s gimmick as a dominant heel will lose a lot of credibility, and WWE RAW can’t afford that at this point. Irrespective of the result, it is high time for the creative to put an end to this feud, and there will be no better opportunity than their upcoming match at SummerSlam to do the same.
