We’re shocked by this booking for all the right reasons. Last year, Braun Strowman overcame 49 other men in a Royal Rumble setting to win Saudi Arabia’s Greatest Royal Rumble match. This earned him a shiny trophy, a Hulk-colored belt, and not much else.

This year, WWE decided to save time by making the 50-man affair a Battle Royal instead with no definite prize set for the victor.
While there were many favorites for the match, with Ali topping the list, it was Saudi Arabia’s own export Masoor who won the grand match. Mansoor has become a new face on NXT and was introduced to the WWE Universe last year at The Greatest Royal Rumble event.
Since the winner gets nothing much, it’s good for the young man to get some spotlight to kickstart his career and score a huge victory in his homeland.
