WWE Superstars who should switch brands on the next draft

The WWE Draft
The WWE Draft is set to return post WrestleMania

WWE reintroduced the brand split in July 2016 and the first draft since 2011 happened on July 19th during the live premiere of SmackDown on the USA network.

It is being reported that WWE is planning to have the next draft on the Backlash PPV in May 2018. The 2018 Backlash PPV will also mark the return of all PPV's being dual branded with superstars of both Raw and SmackDown Live competing in the events.

The Draft is an interesting concept brought forward by the WWE and it has helped the superstars to attain the levels that they are in today.

With the next WWE draft set to return on this May, let's see the superstars who should switch brands to keep their careers intact.

#9 Woken Hardy's - SmackDown Live

Woken Hardy's
SmackDown Live can be Total REJUVENATION for the Woken Hardy's

Matt Hardy finally secured the rights to the Broken Universe gimmick from "Anthem", and we should say that this has come very late for the elder Hardy brother.

The Broken Hardy's were the hottest acts in professional wrestling (or sports entertainment) during their time in TNA/Impact/GFW or whatever they call themselves now.

After a long struggle, Matt Hardy obtained the rights to the Broken gimmick and he debuted his Broken persona in the WWE and has been on a very stale feud with Bray Wyatt since then.

Jeff Hardy, on the other hand, is out of action due to an injury and most possibly will miss WrestleMania. It is expected that Jeff will return to active in-ring competition in his Brother Nero persona.

When WWE can utilise new and talented tag teams like the revival on Raw, the Woken Hardy's should jump ships to SmackDown Live and take their Woken Wisdom to the blue brand.

#8 Pete Dunne - Raw

Pete Dunne
The UK Champion should come to Raw

Pete Dunne is one of the very promising talents on the WWE roster right now. It was reported that WWE is planning to debut a new weekly show for the UK fans which will likely feature the participants from the WWE UK Championship tournament.

But that is not a task that can be done in a day and we have to wait longer to find out when that show will be started. But until then WWE cannot afford to have Dunne wrestle only at NXT taping's and the Take Over events, here and then.

Dunne has all it takes to be a legit heel and WWE should capitalise on this opportunity and should draft Pete Dunne along with the UK Championship to Monday Night Raw.

#7 Bayley - SmackDown Live

Bayley
The Huggable one should go to SmackDown Live

Bayley has gone from being the most lovable character on the WWE roster to becoming completely stale. She was one of the most prime attractions when she was a part of NXT and the fans were wondering when she would make her debut on the main roster.

But sadly for Bayley, her stay in Raw has been bitter-sweet altogether. She did win the Raw women's championship one time and went on to WrestleMania 33 as the champion. But things went downhill for her as she is now struggling to find an opportunity to rejuvenate her character.

Fortunately, that opportunity might knock on Bayley's doors in the name of the WWE Draft. This might be her last chance to win back the fans and improve her character and WWE should let that happen by drafting Bayley to the blue brand.

With Ronda Rousey all set to join the Raw roster, there is no chance that Bayley will find a place in the spotlight. So, a move to SmackDown Live will be the only choice.

#6 The Authors of Pain - Raw

The Authors of Pain
It's about time they get called up to the main roster!

Akam and Rezar- "The Authors of Pain" are arguably the most dominant tag team in NXT right now. Ever since they made their debut, they have been unstoppable on their path of destruction.

The former NXT tag team champions are tailor-made to be a part of Monday Night Raw. The Raw tag team division has just started to pick up steam and the addition of Akam and Rezar would do wonders for the Red brands' tag team division.

The Authors of Pain along with Paul Ellering can even give Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman a run for their money!

#5 Bray Wyatt - SmackDown Live

Bray Wyatt
SmackDown Live can give back all the lost momentum to Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt went from winning the WWE Championship inside the elimination chamber last year to being pinned by both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins this year.

It's not an overstatement if one can say that Wyatt has found himself in a whole new level of burial. He cannot afford to be booked in this fashion anymore and a move to SmackDown Live should be in order for the eater of worlds.

Wyatt has a stunning loss percentage of 87.5% in 2018 as he has managed to win only two matches in this year, which is criminal booking for a former WWE Champion.

WWE should move him to the blue brand in this year's draft before he becomes a modern-day version of Jack Swagger.

#4 AJ Styles - Raw

AJ Styles
AJ Styles can make Raw Phenomenal

I agree that this would take a ton of attraction from SmackDown Live and move it towards the red brand. But AJ Styles is on a whole new level right now and the next step for the two-time WWE Champion would be a move to Monday Night Raw.

Styles is all set to defend his WWE Championship against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at Fastlane and it's pretty much guaranteed that he will walk out with the WWE Championship around his waist.

He will likely drop the WWE Championship to the 2018 Royal Rumble winner, Shinsuke Nakamura, at WrestleMania 34 in a dream match. What's next for AJ Styles after WrestleMania? Is the burning question.

A move to Monday Night Raw would be ideal for Styles to keep him going and just imagine the feuds he can have with Samoa Joe and even Kurt Angle. The future does indeed look very bright for the Phenomenal One.

#3 Seth Rollins - SmackDown Live

Seth Rollins
The Architect Should Move to SmackDown Live

If you take AJ Styles out of SmackDown Live, it makes us wonder who can be a suitable replacement for the Phenomenal One? Enter Seth Rollins.

The architect is one of the most talented performers in the WWE roster right now and it is a shame that he does not have a proper direction going into WrestleMania. He has proved on countless occasions that if given the opportunity, he can deliver on all grounds.

The former two-time WWE Champion will enter the elimination chamber against six other superstars for a chance to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34. But we all know that spot is reserved for the Big Dog, Roman Reigns.

So, it will be better to keep Seth Rollins away from Roman Reigns at all costs and that is only possible if he is drafted to SmackDown Live.

2018 can be the year we can see Seth Rollins as WWE Champion once again.

#2 Aleister Black - Raw

Aliester Black
Raw will never be the same again!

One has to admit that Triple H is doing a very commendable job in finding the best talent on the independent circuits and signing them to the WWE and Aleister Black is one among them.

Black has that unique character that is tailor-made to be a part of the World's largest wrestling promotion. He has created quite the impact on NXT since his arrival and it's time that he brings his game to the main roster.

Monday Night Raw will be the best place to have Black make his main roster debut and he can straight away challenge The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship.

#1 Drew McIntyre - SmackDown Live

Drew McIntyre
The Return of the Chosen One to SmackDown would do wonders!

Drew McIntyre has got to be the best success stories in years in the professional wrestling industry. When we thought that his career is over after his last stint with the WWE as a member of the parody faction 3MB, he found himself in the Indies and successfully reinvented himself.

We never thought we would be seeing McIntyre in a WWE ring again after his last tenure with the company. But he has fought hard to to get back into prominence after his performances elsewhere.

He is now out of action due to an injury after he sustained a torn bicep during his match with Andrade "Cien" Almas. It is expected that he would return to in-ring competition after WrestleMania 34 and WWE can make the right choice by having him re-debut on the main roster as a part of SmackDown Live.
