A victory at Survivor Series would be huge for Big E's push on SmackDown
On SmackDown’s go-home show before Survivor Series 2020, WWE confirmed that a Dual Brand Battle Royal match would also take place at the pay-per-view. In this match, Superstars from both RAW and SmackDown will battle it out to become the last man standing. Even though WWE have not yet given a reason behind booking this match, it would be better if Big E is the one who gets to walk out as the winner for two big reasons.

Firstly, Big E was not included in the SmackDown's five-man Survivor Series team, which came as a huge surprise. Someone like him could have benefited a lot from a good performance at the pay-per-view, especially considering its direct impact on his singles run. But now that Big E doesn’t have the chance, he can still win the Battle Royal to bag another point for SmackDown and prove himself as a great asset.
Secondly, Big E’s singles run might have started out great, but currently, he is at the risk of losing that momentum. Winning the Battle Royal will certainly boost his confidence, and he could then use it as a reason to claim a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. If that doesn’t happen, the entire split of The New Day will go to waste.
