Survivor Series 2021: Ranking and grading every match from the event

#1 Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. WWE Champion Big E at Survivor Series

The Survivor Series main event saw the best from SmackDown in Universal Champion Roman Reigns lock horns with the number one guy on RAW in WWE Champion Big E.

The match started on an even keel with both superstars not giving an inch. The Tribal Chief then began to build momentum with a big boot only to get a two count.

The match spilled over to the outside as Big E pushed Roman into the ring steps. He then nailed two Belly-to-Belly slams on his opponent.

The match certainly built up with moves and countermoves as The Tribal Chief missed a Superman Punch but nailed a Rock Bottom paying homage to his cousin The Rock. Big E kicked out of the pin attempt as the match continued.

Roman then nailed three Superman Punches, but Big E still didn't go down. The WWE Champion hit Reigns with a spear as the latter fell outside the ring. Reigns came back with a spear of his own, but Big E did not surrender.

The Tribal Chief then locked the Guillotine, but The New Day member countered with the Big Ending. As the WWE Champion went for the pin, Reigns grabbed the ropes.

After going back-and-forth, Reigns was finally able to secure the pin with a devastating spear. The contest was easily the most scintillating match of the night. While Big E put up a valiant effort, The Head of the Table reigned supreme at Survivor Series

It was certainly refreshing to see Roman Reigns win clean at Survivor Series without any outside interference.
