Rusev and Lana have been through hell and back trying to prove to WWE that they can be top stars, but there are a lot of other stars that just seem to deserve that much more.

In fact, beyond a title match against AJ Styles earlier in the year and a semi-interesting feud with him Aiden English and Lana, WWE hasn't done much Rusev and Lana lately.

Of course, that's a very unfortunate thing to happen to two people that were booked as a dominant duo, but one has to remember that they are on a show with limited time and are competing with other stars for those coveted top spots.

They also have had a few blunders in their past, which might make WWE officials feel reluctant to work with him again.

Again, unfortunate, but it's not like Rusev and Lana didn't have a good run in WWE. Rusev even captured The United States, became apart of the League of Nations, had a feud with John Cena and had a match with The Rock at WrestleMania.

Win, lose or draw, those were still some big moments for his career and will stick with the fans for years to come.

As for Lana, she did a couple of segments with The Rock during her career, was one of the best managers of the 2010s and has even gotten better inside the ring as time goes on.

If nothing else, these two have accomplished a lot and while they never got the big one, they still did a measure of success in the company and should be thankful for that.
