What will happen when WrestleMania 35 comes around?
What will happen when WrestleMania 35 comes around?

The road to WrestleMania 35 is almost upon us and while that likely means fans will be more critical of the company's decisions, it's also a chance for officials to go above and beyond! Whether WWE ultimately does that is up to them and what they feel is best for business, but what are some of the things they need to do before WrestleMania rolls around?

Furthermore, what are they going to do now that Triple H, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and many others are out with injuries? If nothing else, WWE is facing a similar situation to that of WrestleMania 32 when the injury bug hit the roster and now must make major changes in order to make WrestleMania season the spectacle it deserves to be.

With that being said and only a month to go before The Road To WrestleMania 35 officially starts, here are ten controversial things the company must do in the lead up to the big show. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and be sure to tell us what you want to happen on the road to WrestleMania this year!

#10 Have Ember Moon win The Women's Royal Rumble

Should Ember Moon win The Women's Royal Rumble Match?
Should Ember Moon win The Women's Royal Rumble Match?

Ember Moon continues to impress everyone on The Raw roster and that's exactly why she deserves a crowning moment at WrestleMania 35. Beyond that, with Ronda Rousey supposedly set to leave for Smackdown Live due to the Fox Sports deal, Raw is going to need a new face for the Women's division, which would be perfect for Moon.

Of course Moon isn't the only superstar deserving of this high profile spot as Ruby Riott, Sasha Banks and even Alexa Bliss are all prime choices, but Moon seems like the only one that the fans will really get behind. In fact, she already has a lot of fan support since teaming with Rousey on Raw and WWE would be stupid not to capitalize on that.

#9 Bring Back Batista

WWE needs to bring Batista back for WrestleMania 35!
WWE needs to bring Batista back for WrestleMania 35!

There were rumours circulating that Batista was supposed to go one on one with Triple H at WrestleMania 35, but it looks like those plans are now off the table thanks to an injury at Crown Jewel. With that being said, however, and the immense fan support Batista had when he returned, it makes sense that WWE bring him in to face someone

There are also a plethora of opponents for him to face on either Raw and Smackdown Live, which makes the possibility of a dream match very likely for The Animal. In fact, between opponents like Bruan Strowman, Lars Sullivan and even Drew McIntyre, there are just countless options here.

Face it! With stars like Triple H, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns and countless others likely missing the biggest show of the year, Batista would serve as a reasonable replacement. Not only that, but he also has the mainstream appeal that will draw more people into the big show, which is also a plus.

#8 Set up Carmella versus Nikki Bella

Carmella deserves a high profile spot at WrestleMania 35
Carmella deserves a high profile spot at WrestleMania 35

Let's be honest here.

Carmella has come a long way in her career since winning The Smackdown Live Women's championship the night after WrestleMania 34. It would be a huge mistake on WWE's part to treat her like an afterthought during the biggest show of the year. That's why she is another superstar that is absolutely deserving of a high profile match

Beyond that, Nikki Bella has gained a ton of credibility since going toe to toe with Ronda Rousey at The Evolution pay per view, which is only going to make the match that much more fun to see. In the end, it would be smart to have Carmella come out on top in the battle of The Divas and it would be a huge launching point for her heading into another year.

In the end, she isn't the most popular women superstar in WWE, but she has taken her role and done the best she could with it. She made it her own and she proudly proclaimed that she was proud to be a Diva in Women's era. If nothing else, WWE needs to embrace that kind of story and showcase it for the fans to see.

#7 Reunite The Wyatt Family

A Wyatt Family reunion would be an interesting thing to do on the road to WrestleMania 35
A Wyatt Family reunion would be an interesting thing to do on the road to WrestleMania 35

Is it time to reunite The Wyatt Family?

While the family's first run can only be described as sup bar at best and abysmal at worst, they have all gone on to accomplish some pretty amazing time during their time apart. So much in fact, that the team of Bray Wyatt, Bruan Strowman and The Bludgeon Brothers would be an unbeatable team if WWE put them all on Raw.

It could also be a great way to establish a faction to lord over Monday Night Raw once the Authority storyline ends and might play a big part in getting Wyatt or Strowman a shot at The Universal title. In the end, could also be a great way to give them a high profile match heading into WrestleMania 35, which would be fun to see.

Maybe some fans will think of this as just rehashing the past, but after the success of The Shield reunion, and other nostalgic storylines, a reunion like this might be just what WWE needs. Finally, maybe WWE can finally introduce Sister Abigail to the world and expand on the story from there.

#6 Give Finn Balor a high profile match

Dear WWE. Please give Finn Balor a high profile match at WrestleMania 35
Dear WWE. Please give Finn Balor a high profile match at WrestleMania 35

Finn Balor has deserved a high profile match for a long time now, but they still haven't given him one. Furthermore, Seth Rollins seems to be next in line for a Universal title shot, which means that Balor is probably going to have to wait until after WrestleMania 35 to get his hands on the gold

With that being said, however, WWE can still put Balor in a high profile match and have a lot of options to choose to from. In fact, between John Cena, Kurt Angle, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre, WWE is flushed with options for Balor's opponent and shouldn't waste any time in finding one.

In the end, Balor versus John Cena would be a great way to get Balor back on track and push him towards the title in the future. It would also be the kind of high profile moment that Balor has deserved for a long time, which is another reason why the company needs to pull the trigger on something like this!

#5 Have Elias win The IC Title

Is The WWE Universe ready to see Elias as IC Champion?
Is The WWE Universe ready to see Elias as IC Champion?

Believe it or not, rumours have already circulated that WWE's original plan was to have Dean Ambrose cost Seth Rollins The Intercontinental title and Elias was supposed to be the new champion. Of course, the company's plans changed and centred Rollins and Ambrose's feud over The IC title, but what happens when that's over?

If nothing else, it would be really smart on WWE's part to have Ambrose or Rollins cost each other The IC title and have Elias come out the winner. At least that way, WWE can take the belt off of Rollins or Ambrose without really hurting their momentum and Elias, who has been doing amazingly as a face lately, can finally nab his first title.

Maybe fans won't like the idea of Rollins losing The IC title, but it really wouldn't be that bad if Ambrose cost him the title in some way. It could even play further into their feud and allow Elias to move into a mid-card champion role. He could also be a great comedic relief against heel challengers, which is another reason this would be perfect for him!

#4 Introduce The Women's tag team titles

Will Sasha Banks and Bayley be the first ever women's tag team champions?
Will Sasha Banks and Bayley be the first ever women's tag team champions?

The WWE has been teasing the debut of The Women's tag team titles for quite some time now and it honestly feels like a logical next step in The Women's evolution at this point. Beyond that, it finally gives the women another belt to fight for, which is another huge plus for women stars that aren't main event material as of yet.

Furthermore, it could be the beginning of a thriving division that wows fans as much as the regular tag team division does. The historic move could also be the start of WWE debuting a few more titles as time goes on, which is only going to help the otherwise stilted storylines that have been occurring as of late.

Unfortunately for The WWE Universe, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will most likely be involved in some kind of match against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35, which means that WWE will have to find another talented women tag team to take on what should be Sasha Banks and Bayley

Whether WWE can actually pull this off or not is up to them and highly dependent on who are the two teams that compete for the belt are, but one would think it would be Sasha Banks and Bayley based on recent events. As for their opponents, maybe WWE could do Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville or Naomi and Asuka if she doesn't already have a title match.

#3 Don't use The Undertaker

Should The Undertaker return for one more match at WrestleMania 35?
Should The Undertaker return for one more match at WrestleMania 35?

All good things must come to an end and unfortunately for The WWE Universe, that includes The Undertaker's string of appearances at WrestleMania. Of course, some will argue that The Deadman is a necessary part of the festivities at this point, but his recent string of matches at Super Showdown and Crown Jewel prove otherwise

Beyond his matches against Triple H and Shawn Michaels being a bottom of the barrel nostalgia fest, it also exposed that Undertaker can't go like he used to, which his really taking away from his mystique. With that being said and The Deadman accomplishing everything there is to in WWE, it's probably best he sits this one out and ultimately retires.

Again, not everyone is going to agree with that assessment, but with his subpar showings this year and his mystique as a character wearing off more and more every match, it makes no sense for him to be in the ring again. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments below!

#2 Insert Dean Ambrose into The Universal title picture

Dean Ambrose versus Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar. Who wins?
Dean Ambrose versus Seth Rollins versus Brock Lesnar. Who wins?

Let's be honest here

There's just something about Dean Ambrose's current heel character that screams WrestleMania main event worthy and that's exactly why the company needs to insert him into the Universal title picture somehow. In fact, doing so could have a dramatic effect on The Universal title picture and give Seth Rollins someone to overcome to win the big red belt.

Of course, Seth Rollins already has to topple Brock Lesnar to win The Universal title at WrestleMania 35, but adding Ambrose into the mix adds another wrinkle to the story that could pay dividends later. It also creates a situation where Rollins would seemingly act as a surrogate for his buddy Roman Reigns, which is another interesting plot point WWE can play on.

In the end, controversy creates cash and creating a scenario where Seth Rollins is forced to battle for Roman Reigns honour will not only be the underdog story of the year, it also will give WWE something interesting and unique heading into the biggest show of the show. If nothing else, WWE needs to screw the fans that think its in bad taste and just do it!

#1 Have The Miz win The Royal Rumble

Let's be honest here. It's time for The Miz to win the big one again!
Let's be honest here. It's time for The Miz to win the big one again!

There are rumours circulating that The Miz and Daniel Bryan are supposed to meet at WrestleMania 35 for The WWE title, how exactly will WWE go about executing this? One way of doing this is to have The Miz continue to lose throughout the rest of the winter and then have him win The Royal Rumble match in January.

Not only does this help build Miz as an underdog babyface, but it is also one of the most organic ways the company could go about this. Another thing WWE can do is have Daniel Bryan and Miz team up for a while, which they have seemingly already started doing and have Bryan eventually betray The Miz to set up their WrestleMania 35 match

In the end, The Miz has deserved a spot like this for quite a while now and winning the Royal Rumble would be a huge shock to The WWE Universe. Not only that, but it would also finally give him The WrestleMania moment he should have had at WrestleMania 27 before The Rock came and stole the spotlight!
