This week marks the 20th anniversary of Jeff Hardy's career in the WWE, and SmackDown Live certainly gave the Charismatic Enigma his due.

With a highlight package and huge celebration of Hardy's life, I argue that even the most cynical of fans got a strong sense of nostalgia watching the career highlights of the North Carolina native.

Of course, this being WWE, no good moment can last forever, and Samoa Joe was quick to ruin the Hardy-Party, reminding Jeff of his personal demons.

Whilst it's a story we've seen before (most notably by CM Punk in 2009) it will certainly be interesting to see how Joe plays this one.

With all that said, Hardy was able to cut a great promo about his career, thanking the fans for their support throughout it, and rightly earns a spot as an MVP for this week.
