It's nice to see Beth Phoenix back for a sojourn, but this segment wasn't done as well as it could have been. As expected, Nia Jax and Tamina are still in the title picture, despite their clean loss at Fastlane, and their entrance into the scene was the usual attempt to make them look menacing during the build before they inevitably lose on pay per view.

Banks and Bayley's reign could be better served by simply transitioning into a match with Natalya and Beth Phoenix. It will be interesting to see them on SmackDown to address the IIconics, but those aren't exciting opponents, either.

Winner: Seth Rollins

I'm putting this one down tentatively in the win column.

Sure, last night was a bland, formulaic attempt at building yet another Brock Lesnar match. It's gotten stale by now. The most interesting thing, though, was Drew McIntyre's entrance into the picture.

With him having beef with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, and now attacking Rollins and having a win over him by distraction, WWE might be attempting to build another feud.

Meaning Seth Rollins' chances of winning the Universal title and finally hitting the reset button on it ticked up a bit.

Fingers crossed.
