When two of the most popular Superstars of all time open the show, you are in for an amazing match between the two. Both John Cena and Triple H were looking for redemption after facing losses at WrestleMania 34.
Thanks to the thunderous ovation by the Saudi fans, the match exceeded expectations despite not being a very technically high-risk match. The two veterans sure know how to tell a story with "The Game" portraying his heelish persona to perfection. The crowd enthusiastically responded with "Yeahs" and "Boos," which made the match even more interesting.
After a hard-fought battle, Cena came out on top after hitting an Attitude Adjustment, a slingshot into the turnbuckle and, finally, the third AA to put his foe away. "The Cenation Leader" thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their unmatched hospitality and the honour and opportunity of allowing him to compete at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
