The New Day kicked off Survivor Series and began cutting a promo right off the bat. They started talking about RAW's siege of SmackDown Live and said that they didn't nearly as good as the "original" siege.
Big E rightly pointed about how it's a "dog eat dog world" and how by WrestleMania season none of The Shield members will be together. We all know that's true.
Kofi Kingston and Dean Ambrose kicked off the action. Xavier Woods and Seth Rollins were then tagged in for a small exchange. Big E and Roman then had a moment in itself. The first time Roman got a pop in a while.
The two had a showcase as the powerhouses of the two groups. The Shield's tag teamwork was stronger in the early going. After clearing The New Day from the ring, it was Xavier Woods who began to take punishment from "The Hounds Of Justice".
Kofi Kingston shifted the momentum back for the team and after nearly running into a dirty deed, tagged Big E in. The New Day then began The Unicorn stampede on Dean Ambrose, who almost escaped, only to get caught in the unicorn stampede again!
On a side note, Rollins & Ambrose were wearing those really ugly Half RAW/ Half Shield t-shirts. Only Roman wore the vest. Dean Ambrose had the shirt completely ripped by Big E.
Dean Ambrose escaped a top-turnbuckle Belly-to-Belly suplex by clapping on Big E's head and the momentum shifted towards The Shield from right then.
The crowd was clearly more pro-Shield but they cheered New Day heavily at the same time. This was evident when Roman was getting cheered for pretty much everything he did. To be fair, he did land a great superman punch but was cleared from the ring thanks to a combination by Xavier Woods and Big E.
Rollins & Ambrose hit a King Slayer-Dirty Deeds combo on Kofi Kingston but Xavier Woods saved the pin from happening. Roman & Ambrose took out Big E & Kofi Kingston on the outside to ensure they could land the triple powerbomb onto Xavier, but Big E an Kofi saved him on time and proceeded to beat down The Shield in incredible fashion.
Xavier put BIg E on his shoulders and Kofi jumped over them to splash on Ambrose. Big E then fell right on Ambrose! Things started to break down completely between the two teams to a point where they were all down and had to help each other up.
After Roman caught Kofi with a spear, The Shield hit an AVALANCHE-TOP-TURNBUCKLE Triple powerbomb on Kofi and Ambrose comfortably pinned Kofi Kingston to win it for The Shield and give RAW a 1-0 lead for the night.
The Shield defeated The New Day for RAW to go 1-0 up
