The Ultimate Deletion At Wrestlemania?

Judging by Bray Wyatt's promo on RAW, it's safe to say his feud with Matt Hardy continues. Like it or not. But what would be left for these two after two rather dull matches? With Wrestlemania around the corner, it seems clear.

"The Ultimate Deletion". Something Bray Wyatt promised to put Matt through on Raw. Judging by Twitter posts from Matt Hardy, a Final Deletion-type of match is something he clearly wants and has been pushing for since his return to the WWE. It would not be the first time WWE tries something similar to it. The House of Horrors from last year at Payback plus The New Day and The Wyatt Family fighting in the swamp in 2016 were clear imitations of Matt Hardy's famous match taped in his own home.

With the 'Grandest Stage Of Them All' looking to highlight some of it's less focused characters better than previous years and Matt Hardy had his character from TNA, it seems all the pieces are there. While WWE has had mixed results with Matt in the ring, it's clear they want a success out of it. Otherwise, they would not have waited so long for him to secure this character. Let alone let him use a character created by another company.

Wrestlemania would be an incredible stage to have a Final Deletion-style match. An enormous Superdome would be full of creative possibilities. Not just pre-taped but live too. Similar to Matt's third outing with this type of match. The Great War from Bound For Glory 2016. It would certainly be unique to Wrestlemania.

With Matt Hardy, it was never a question of "if" but "when" would we see Matt Hardys' unique style of match arrive in WWE and it seems Wrestlemania is that time. It could even see the return of Jeff Hardy or Brother Nero who is getting prepared to come back soon after an arm injury. It's hard to believe he wouldn't have an involvement at Wrestlemania after the return of the Hardy Boys was one of the highlights last year. Despite his injured arm, the match type would allow for him to have a roll in it without risk of further injury.

It all seems to point in that direction for Wrestlemania. The Ultimate Deletion is coming. Otherwise, I'll fade away and classify myself as Obsolete.
