Is it finally time for Elias to go over

During his time with NXT, Elias Samson had a middle card gimmick known as "The Drifter." He never seemed to get the push in NXT that he deserved. Thus it was surprising when he was called up the main roster on April 10, 2017.

Elias quickly stole the spotlight and lost his last name.

He has grown as a character since his arrival and has gone toe to toe with the best of the best including Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and John Cena.

It was without a doubt his match with Roman Reigns that solidified him as a potential standout. Elias faced the "Big Dog" and thrived. He had a couple of covers that had the crowd gasping with a combination of surprise and respect.

Elias has taken every opportunity given to him and made the absolute most of it. His perfect mix of aggression and arrogance have made him one of the WWE Universe's favourite stars to hate.

Elias kicked momentum into high gear once debuting in the WWE and has ridden that momentum and earned the attention of the WWE Universe. With the overwhelming response he gets from the fans Elias is quickly on his way to becoming RAW's top heel.

When Elias takes to the ring with his guitar, he first steals the spotlight with his musical lyrics that insults local fans and then with his wrestling ability. The vast response he gets from his musical efforts is a clear sign that Elias is "over" with fans.

Elias is also proof that the WWE would find more success with many of its characters if they simply let them do their thing rather than tinkering with them. Proper booking and giving Eliias the ability to grow his character without asking him to change things have been the key to his success.

Even though Elias is yet to be involved in a full-fledged feud or is still to wear a championship belt he is gold. He has the type of charisma and ability that the WWE can make bank on...it is time to "Walk with Elias."
