Bobby Lashley and Elias have been wrestling each other since the summer, but tonight was the first time both men faced each other in a ladder match. "The Almighty"Lashley has defeated Elias in most of their previous matches, but that was before both men took their characters in a different direction.
The match took place on the Kickoff show and started with Elias greeting the crowd and preparing for a song. Lashley and his manager, Lio Rush, would interrupt Elias before the match began declaring that the fans were their to see Lashley - who bent over and showed his backside to the camera again.
Elias started the match in control, but distractions by Rush would set up Lashley to dominate the match and brutalize Elias with the ladder.
Later in the match, Elias started to pick up momentum with some clotheslines and a splash in the corner before Lashley grabbed Elias and threw him into the ladder via a belly-to-belly suplex.
Lashley hit Elias with the ladder and seemed like he tried to trap them in the corner. He tried to climb the ladder and secure the guitar, but Elias would grab him and drive him into the ladder via a powerbomb.
Rush tried to grab the guitar in Lashley's place, but Elias knocked him off the ladder and grabbed the instrument to win the match.
Elias was about to hit Lashley with the guitar, but Rush jumped on Elias and distracted him long enough for Lashley to drop him to the mat with a ura-nage slam.
Rush hit a splash on Elias before Lashley swung the guitar and broke it against Elias' body.
Before the match ended, Lashley would bend over for the camera one more time to the dismay of the fans in attendance and watching at home.
